LANDSLIDE PRIMARY VICTORIES!
- Candidates endorsed by the Alliance for Meredith won by landslide margins in the town primary elections on September 18.
- Dan Birnbaum and Ron Bailey were victorious in the Democratic primary for Town Council. In the general election in November, they will appear on the Democratic, Conservative and Unity Party lines, along with their running mate, Supervisor candidate Keitha Capouya.
- Bill Jester was the overwhelming choice in the Republican primary for Superintendent of Highways. Bill will be on the Republican, Democratic and Unity Party lines in the November election.
These are the final totals for the Town of Meredith primary, and include the absentee ballots.

Ron Bailey: 134
Dan Birnbaum: 128
Mike Martin: 33
Pat Lynn: 23
The combined total for the winning candidates is 262, which is more than 82% of the total, or 5 out of every 6 votes. The voter turnout was 50% of all registered Democrats. Republican Primary, Superintendent of Highways:
Bill Jester: 119
Phil Terry: 7
